Chain Squats Doesn't Have To Be Hard - Watch These Two Videos

If you want to know what type of workouts are used in the Adonis Golden Ratio exercise training program, here are a couple of videos (Part 1 & 2) where John Barban, one of the team members, demonstrates Chain Squats weightlifting. In video part 1, he demonstrates one technique where more weight is added when doing squats. Perhaps you may be familiar with this technique already but I'm sure there will be some people not familiar with it.

Just watch video Part 1 as John explains and demonstrates how you can maximize squat lifting. In video part 2, he demonstrates one variation to this technique...

I found some interesting information about two forms of chain exercises you might want to read about...

Closed Kinetic Chain Exercises - Wikipedia

"Closed kinetic chain exercises or closed chain exercises (CKC) are physical exercises performed where the hand (for arm movement) or foot (for leg movement) is fixed in space and cannot move. The extremity remains in constant contact with the immobile surface, usually the ground or the base of a machine..." Read More!

Squats is definitely a vital part of ones workout regimen whether it's for strength training or muscle building, heighten vertical jump or increase acceleration. John tells us the chain squat technique actually feels better than doing squats the regular way.

Now I don't know whether or not you have similar equipment at home that John uses in the videos, with one 25 lb chain that wraps around your chest and two 35 lb chains that hangs down from both ends of the bar. Perhaps a membership to any weightlifting gym that already employ chains for squatting exercises would be best.

In any case, you've seen both techniques with or without the use of chains around the chest and now its left up to you to incorporate one or the other technique, or both, into your workouts. If you like more information, visit this page Adonis Golden Ratio program.

What are your thoughts on using this technique and are you going to try it? Leave your comment below...
